Europe’s leading lean congress relies on the triad “lean-agile-digital” / International experts provide answers to the challenges of permanent change – BestPractice Day 2019

If you want to stick around, you need to take action! On July 2, 2019, decision-makers from industry and business and renowned scientific experts will meet in Darmstadt at Europe’s top Lean Management conference. The motto for the congress this year is “Learn. Lead. Shape change.” Workshops and best practice tours on July 3 and 4 will complement the event.

Top-class key speakers from the Lean, New Work, and digital scene will lead participants through the excellent program. More than 30 international experts will present benchmark examples and reveal solution approaches. In the process, topics from the areas Lean, Learn, and Change will be illuminated from various perspectives.

The top speaker and leadership philosopher Niels Pfläging will kick things off this year. This “management exorcist,” as he calls himself, will reveal how entrepreneurial success can be achieved even in this era of complexity. His motto: lose the enemies of Lean in your head!

Speaker Dr. Ludwig Sporer of BMW AG successfully introduced agile Shop Floor Management in his work area, thereby reorganizing the work structures for future tasks. He will speak about the learning organization with respect to agility.

According to the motto “everything will be smart,” Henrik Schunk, CEO of the Schunk Group, will devote himself to the challenges of digital change for medium-sized family-owned companies and the new business models arising from this.

Coca-Cola is also focusing on a work in progress. Speaker Joerg Alois Blunder, Vice President Organizational Culture, will describe how corporate culture can establish itself as a competitive advantage.

In addition, top managers, including from Daimler, Wittenstein, and Freudenberg will reveal how they are driving change at their companies with digitalization and integrating it into a state-of-the-art management structure. The memory expert Markus Hofmann will round out this year’s BestPractice Day. His lecture “Advantage through knowledge – Mentally fit instead of digitally demented” promises lively interaction and a path to the perfect memory for people.

With more than 400 participants annually, BestPractice Day has earned the distinction of being the place for decision-makers in the fields of industry and science to meet.
