The German Chamber of Commerce in China (Shanghai) has been providing workshops / working groups for interested managers with a special background for many years. Those workshops usually take place 4-6 times a year. Now the new working group “Production & Logistics” has been established. Workshop leader and responsible for conception and moderation is Markus Franz, Managing Director of Staufen China. Workshop description Highly efficient factories & lean and stable supply chains – main aim for all managers with responsibility in the fields of production and logistics. But it is sometimes very hard to achieve and even harder to maintain, especially in China. The Production & Logistics workshop wants to support its participants in terms of providing a forum for managers and engineers who are interested in getting input from experts and sharing experiences about approaches, solutions and best practices. If you are interested in topics like Lean Production, effective Supply Chain Management, Shop Floor Management, Continuous Improvement and Supplier Development you should join us. Planned are 4-6 events per year composed of one or two presentations with a followed group discussion and social networking. Planned are also Best Practice trips to see how benchmark factories in China operate.
