Staufen continues to grow in Central and Eastern Europe – New Management Team

February 12, 2020 | Global news, News Germany

Staufen AG continues its success story in the region of Central and Eastern Europe. Alexander Wagner took over the position of Head of Central and Eastern Europe (CEE) at the turn of the year and will support customers on site together with an experienced team.

Eastern Europe has been economically successful, with economic output and wages significantly increasing in recent years. This shows a strong dependence on economic development in Western Europe. The reason for this is the close ties of numerous companies to their business partners and parent companies. Declines in orders in the west also impact Eastern European companies.

Companies require greater consulting on such situations. Staufen AG has been successfully operating in Poland for more than twelve years. Hungary, Romania, the Czech Republic and Slovakia followed, as did projects in Slovenia and Ukraine. Through intensive consulting and the support of international and local companies, the business of Staufen AG in the region of Central and Eastern Europe is developing very well.

“The demand for topics such as leadership, smart factory and operational excellence is growing strongly in Central and Eastern Europe”

Industrial engineer Alexander Wagner has extensive experience in holistic lean transformation, which he has relied on in recent years as a Project Manager for Staufen in Mexico and in the International Business Team. Together with a team of experienced consultants in the CEE region, he now supports German as well as local companies in the development of process and leadership excellence and digital transformation. Balazs Garliczky and Róbert Velenczei are responsible for the Hungarian market as Country Managers, while Arpad Boros acts as Country Manager in Romania.

“Consulting manufacturers and suppliers in the automotive industry will continue to be of great importance in the CEE region, but the demand for topics such as leadership, smart factory and operational excellence is also growing strongly. This is especially true in mechanical engineering, the process industry and in electronics manufacturing,” says Alexander Wagner. “In addition, with the ongoing development of the Eastern European sites, the need for digital technologies such as process mining or robotic process automation as well as for agile organizational forms increases.” Staufen AG will expand its offering in the CEE region accordingly. The core of consulting is to support international companies in the further development of their branches on site and to support local companies in their transformation.
