Johann Soder is Managing Director of SEW-EURODRIVE GmbH & Co KG, Bruchsal. After his training as an energy system electronics technician, he took over the management of electronics production in 1995. Under his leadership as plant manager responsible for the Bruchsal site, an innovative electronics plant with state-of-the-art production and logistics processes was realized within 5 years. In 2000, he founded WIEPROconsulting, an organization that designs and optimizes business processes throughout the company. In October 2005, he was appointed Managing Director Production; from October 2007, he served as Managing Director Technology, responsible for innovation and production. From March 2018 to December 2022, as COO, he headed the operating business of SEW-EURODRIVE, one of the global market leaders in the field of drive technology/drive automation. It employs 20,000 people worldwide. 17 manufacturing plants and 88 DriveTechnologyCenters in 52 countries provide global presence, best service, and fast availability. Johann Soder has been Managing Director Special Topics at SEW-EURODRIVE since January 2023.
