In Weilburg located in central Hesse, a city with a population of approximately 13,000, high-quality electronics are developed and produced that are used around the world. FEIG ELECTRONIC has specialized in products for intelligent gate and barrier control.
DILO Armaturen und Anlagen GmbH, with headquarters located in the Lower Allgäu, employs approximately 300 people. After initially established in 1951, it entered the sulphur hexafluoride (SF⁶) business in 1967. Today, this medium-sized company is a world market leader in SF⁶-gas handling, also offering series-manufactured products as well as solutions custom-manufactured to specific needs.
Staufen AG was the selected partner for developing a long-term, implementation-oriented qualification concept for DB Fernverkehr AG. Together, the “Lean ABC – Application, Training, Coaching” program was initiated.
The Italian management contracted Staufen AG as an experienced consultant in the manufacturing industry. Staufen was asked to take a close look at the company as a whole, identify the reasons why it was in such economic crisis and draw up a business plan to successfully re-align the company.
