Staufen AG ranks amongst the top class of German employers. This has been confirmed by an employee survey as part of the “Great Place to Work 2013” contest. The greatest plus in business consultancy: contented employees. Nine of ten consultants emphasised team spirit and a pleasant atmosphere at work. 80% of the workforce also expressed pride in their workplace. “We are very pleased with the outstanding results and the very positive assessment by our staff,” states Dr Jens Zimmermann, Board Member at Staufen AG. “We use anonymised surveys on a regular basis in order to receive honest feedback about what is going well and what we need to improve. In this way, we apply the principles of our core competence in lean management successfully to our own internal processes. This creates transparency, promotes a good work climate and also convinces all who work here of the service they provide.” This successful triad forms the basis for Staufen AG to increase its staff by the end of the year to 180 worldwide, thus continuing its successful growth course. With the increase in turnover over the last five years from 20 million Euro to most recently 35 million Euro, Staufen AG is amongst the fastest-growing consultancy companies in Germany according to the latest “Lünendonk-Trendstudie 2013 – Performance”. “The success of our lean management consultancy is based on the practical experience of our consultants in production, development, logistics as well as procurement and sales,” Staufen Board Member Zimmermann explains. “We cover the entire value creation chain and – in addition to an attractive work environment – we also offer our employees a wide range of deployment and development opportunities.” The official award of the quality mark to Staufen AG was on 24 April 2013 in Berlin.
